On 2 July 2022, the Stuttgart Science Festival took place for the second time. From the perspective of various scientific organisations, the question "How is digital moving image applied in the fields of visual media, film, architecture and urban planning?" was discussed. The event "Stadt | Haus | Pixel - digitale Innovationen in Medien, Film und Architektur" (City | House | Pixel - digital innovations in media, film and architecture), organised by the association Haus für Film und Medien Stuttgart e.V. focussed on topics such as the metaverse, digital twins and AR/VR, which were explained in a comprehensible way in very different contexts and areas of application and were also made tangible in lectures, discussion rounds or live demonstrations.
